What follows is a poignant letter from the grateful parent of a former Colegio Alfa & Omega student whose family recently moved away from Dénia. This letter truly captures the essence that makes the Alfa community unique. The letter was beautifully interpreted and translated by Tamar Campbell, an Alfa graduate who lives with her husband Paul and their two children in Miami, Florida.

Dear Alfa & Omega Dénia:
To each and every one of you who makes it possible for this school to radiate such happiness:
The truth is, Alfa & Omega was never on the list of schools that we thought about for our child, but now I know it was not a coincidence and that it couldn’t have been any other school. We felt a very special connection when we first arrived.
A sense of true Inner peace, deep inner peace. The true understanding of love, the one that tells you that everything will be alright.
Alfa and Omega is not only a place, it’s a path that you always want to come back to, and you hope that everything will work the way it does here.
To arrive every morning, feels like a hug, a powerful hug from the rugged Montgó.
Vitality, energy and strength. Support. Assistance.
It is Light! The light that shines here announces that there’s nothing against you, that you are capable of achieving anything.
And you want to come back…
“and that, until we meet again, may God hold you and everyone else in His hands”.
- (fragment of the blessing from the beginning of the school year that I keep and that accompanies me wherever I go.)
THANK YOU
